Gian S.

Gian moved to Washington, D.C., in the fall of 2011 and started practicing Krav Maga.  He has always had a passion for teaching.  Gian is a former swim instructor, coach and lifeguard instructor. He jumped at the opportunity and began training in the fall of 2012 for his Krav Maga instructor certification under his lead instructor and mentor D.J. Stephens.  Gian currently holds a Phase C Certification through Krav Maga World Wide which he earned in October of 2015 and is now training for his Expert 1 certification.

David H.

David studied boxing growing up. The thing he loved most about CDK is the family atmosphere. He said he felt  welcomed from the first day he started. “What I like about teaching the most is seeing a student get that “aha” moment from something I have taught them, it is a great feeling when it happens to me and it makes me happy for them when they feel it to!”

Jason K.

Jason has been training in Krav Maga since 2010, starting in Atlanta while he attended Georgia Tech. There he assisted his instructors in promoting self defense training on campus. He has been with Krav Maga CDK and training under DJ for just over a year, and he completed his Phase A training in May 2016.
Jason enjoys the enthusiasm and dedication that the CDK family brings to training every evening, and way students constantly support one another. His favorite part of being an instructor is watching his students develop, especially when students achieve more than they thought they were capable of. Jason is proud to share Krav Maga and to provide his students with the ability and confidence to go home safe.
